I'm wider through the middle. Won't an open jacket with no buttons make me look bigger?
It's the opposite, and the photos don't really show why. The corduroy runs in vertical ribs, so your eye travels up and down instead of side to side, and the two gold tone-button tabs pull the fabric in right at your natural waist. Does corduroy still look current, or is it dated?
